The Law We All Know But Never Applied

We are all familiar with Isaac newton, had to memorize and be tested for his physical laws. Why revisit this common knowledge?

An Object at rest tends to stay at rest.

An Object in motion tends to stay in motion.

Common knowledge right? Even some infants might be able to understand this and explain this, so why are we reviewing this today?

I hate to say your an object but, put that label on yourself for a little bit with me. An Object (You and I) at rest tends to stay at rest. An Object (You and I) in motion tends to stay in motion.

Do you see where I’m getting at?

The stagnancy within your life can be changed. All it takes now is action.

Let’s get the ball rolling

Procrastination, hesitation, fear, and the unknown keeps us at rest. To which it serves it’s purpose, but can have an over welcomed stay. The simple art of acting creates what we need. This has been mentioned as but not limited to: the Snowball effect, Compound effect, Kaizen, Gradualism, Ripples, etc.

After taking action we get to learn from our experience / experiment. Maybe it worked, maybe we over or undershot, or completely missed.

The great thing is now we know what happened and can adjust our sails for the next time around, whenever that may be. Everyday we should have constant and never ending improvement towards our objectives, challenges, missions, purposes, relationships, mental health, physical health, spiritual health, etc.

Through our acts we learn and achieve what we deserve to.

I remember seeing this image on reddit one day when I was getting into trading and had a passion for improvement alongside my high school business teacher Mr. Maddox, and ended up writing it on the whiteboard of his classroom. This is a post dedicated to you

Time Can Corrode things and or Compound things

In Sanskrit there’s a common word for such things

“Āraṃbhaśūra:—[noun] he who shows super enthusiasm only at the beginning.”

Don’t Be The Hero That Loses Their Cape With Time.

Please have the grit to continue towards your dreams and aspirations. Have the same admiration, determination, drive, and enthusiasm as when you first started.

My ask for the week.

For my weekly blog post ask, I ask you to find and pinpoint stagnancy within your lives, and take action towards that stagnancy.

Either journal or comment on this post: What the stagnancy is, what it’s teaching you, what your going to do about it, and why. Would love to hear from you and share my story as well.

The Obstacle is The Way.

Much Love and Chi

Trevor
